Speaker and details: 
Ellen Walker is a human rights lawyer based in Geneva. She brings over ten years of experience in multilateral, intergovernmental advocacy in the UN, inter-agency work, advocacy support, and capacity building of rights-holders in developing countries. She currently trains indigenous peoples’ delegates on using UN mechanisms to advance their rights, and trains human rights defenders on documenting human rights violations.
Ellen’s presentation will explore:
– Why a human rights approach to women in tech?- Women in tech: a global human rights priority
– What women in tech need to know about their rights (and others’ rights)
– Discussion: how human rights and tech professionals can work together
– A little about her own journey
